Krabi : Boat racing
In these photos you can see Khao Khanap Nam, the 100m high hills rising from the water and the symbol of Krabi. If you look to the left of these hills you can just make out Wat Tham Seua (Tiger Cave Temple - look for the golden pagoda), one of Thailand's most famous forest Wats, 1272 steps up to the top of a karst hill surrounded by 1000 year old dipterocarps. Jon and I reached the temple grounds at just about the hottest part of the day so didn't attempt the climb on this occassion, but did receive blessings from one of the thai nun's there in the complex.
